What we say:

Takamine are a very familiar brand to music fans: constantly seen in the overwhelmingly public hands of artists like Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, The Eagles and Garth Brooks. World class professionals choose Takamine, a brand that has grown from a small shop at the foot of Mt Takamine in Japan in 1959 to their status today as one of the world’s biggest acoustic guitar brands. Their famous asymmetrical C shape neck carve is renowned for being extremely comfortable: it’s a little thinner on the bass side to match your hand better and reduce fatigue. Playability, set up and sound marry up with distinctive good looks to bring guitars ready for the world’s stages and studios. With ranges available to suit every need and budget, Takamine will almost certainly have the right acoustic guitar for you.

This beautiful black dreadnought is a great all-rounder that belongs on the stage! Thick white binding sets off the black gloss finish perfectly. This professional level acoustic combines a solid cedar top with laminated maple to provide a sound that covers lots of ground: it has warmth and also brightness; it projects well with clarity and can handle strumming and fingerstyle with equal aplomb.
