Needed to replace a broken LR Baggs M1 (I shorted it taking battery out with aid of screwdriver). Happy with this, mainly because of the mic I can get a warmer sound than previously. I value the ability to mix pickup and mic and adjust mic position and sound. Expensive, but not as much as Bagg’s Anthem! ! Easy enough to install. No volume control though, so entirely dependent on the desk.

Easy to fit and great sound quality. Instructions poor. No advice on best placing of the mic. There are pictures to illustrate changing the battery that look very unhelpful and no details on the battery type that I could see. But yes great sound and easy to fit.

I bought this to use with a recently purchased J-45, and it’s been a game changer - the 50:50 mic/pickup setting works great extremely well for what we do, and is as close to a ‘real’ acoustic guitar sound that I’ve managed to get to for years. I’m yet to install it permanently, but I like the idea of a semi-permanent pickup that you can easily swap out to use in other guitars. If you’re careful and the sound hole is large enough, you can fit the pickup without removing strings.
