There is even a huge selection of melodic based samples like steel drums, marimbas and litophones to give you further creative options. Each sound can be edited to your preference using the tuning, dampening and effect controls. Plus the ability to load in your own sounds really makes the HandSonic an indispensable tool for your percussive performances.
Pads and Inputs
The 13 velocity-sensitive silicone rubber pads have been arranged to make the most out of the HandSonic's compact size. With a selection of different sized pads which are ultra-sensitive, the HandSonic feels natural and responsive. The HandSonic is also compatible with hi-hat control pedals which can be used for opening and closing hi-hat sounds and features a trigger input that is compatible with most modern drum pads and triggers, these really make the HandSonic an instrument that's easy to slot into any drum or percussion set up.
D-Beam
Roland's D-Beam technology has been featured on most of their modern flagship synthesizers and keyboards. This light-sensitive controller allows for hand movements to affect specified parameters. This could be momentary bursts of delays or reverb, changes to pitch or for bringing in modulation effects.
