From Jackson, a leader in designing breathtaking shred machines, comes this commemorative six-string celebrating both Jackson’s guitar-making legacy, and a true metal legend in Randy Rhoads. Rhoads, who played with Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot, was also a devoted student of classical guitar, and often combined his classical music influences with his own heavy metal style, spawning a plethora of followers to fuse such seemingly opposite musical influences together.

Despite a tragically short career, Rhoads’ influence stretches from 1980s metal gods such as Yngwie Malmsteen, to Michael Angelo Batio, and Jason Becker, and beyond. His inspiration and incredible legacy to metal lives on in this beautifully designed 30th anniversary Rhoads guitar. The V-shaped 6-string features a strong and rugged alder body with Jackson’s 30th anniversary graphics, for tough-as-nails construction and killer looks. The rock maple neck-through body further complements the instrument’s strength and solid tone. The compound-radius rosewood fingerboard provides added comfort for face-melting guitar devastation.

The instrument’s DiMarzio Tone Zone bridge and neck humbuckers are hot enough to qualify as a high-output pickup, but have a wider dynamic range. Hard picking will produce a lot of power, and softer picking will be much cleaner and quieter. They’ve got tremendous bass and low-mid response to reinforce the bottom end and make the overall sound bigger. The highest single notes have depth, and chords sound huge.

The Floyd Rose Tremolo System is used by more professionals throughout the world than any other. No copy can duplicate the patented double-locking design of the Floyd Rose Tremolo System that allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge.

This guitar series is limited to a total run of 150 guitars worldwide. Only 30 of each colored graphic design (numbered 1 to 30) exist in the world, making this 30th Anniversary guitar a truly monumental and exclusive celebration unlike any other.
