Thickly padded on the inside with collapsable walls, the outer material is rugged and strong. I researched this heavily before finally giving in and getting the dedicated Nord 88 case. Expensive, but it seems like the best way to move a Nord Piano if you’re a gigging musician. Perfect fit. The smallest, lightest case you’re going to find that provides good protection. Sure if you’re on a major tour with crew to lug your gear around for you, and your Nord needs protection from being thumped against other equipment in the back of a truck, then get a full flightcase. But most flightcases add an extra 20kg to the weight. If you’re just in and out of a car or small van, a heavy hard case will annoy you very quickly. The huge pocket is big enough to take the triple pedal and cables, tho be aware that there is no space for the dedicated Nord legs, so they would need their own bag if you use them. Castors, handles, feet etc work well. Zips seem excellent. The outer material may wear over time obviously, so if you’re going to really abuse it a hard case might be better (tho not for your body or your vehicle), but the weight, size and features make it perfect for me.
