Now, Version 2 adds a core compliant USB audio and MIDI driver which unlocks the new FM Essential app, allowing direct control of a 4-Operator FM Synth on an iOS device from the MX V2. Seriously lightweight and portable, plus bundled with a respectable software collection, the MXv2 gives you all the tools and inspiration you need to quickly turn your musical ideas into reality.
Designed for the modern musician, MX ticks all the boxes and brings the acclaimed MOTIF sound to an affordable, portable and powerful synthesizer. Packed with inspiring sounds and creative features MX is perfect for the stage yet equally at home in the studio or the class room.
Like the original, MXv2 offers a wide selection of dynamic and inspiring MOTIF based sounds + great Yamaha keyboard action and easy-to-use user interface. New to MXv2 is the class-compliant driver allowing connection to an iOS device to unlock and control the FM Essential App, or for producing music using Cubasis LE (which comes free with MXv2) The MX allows you to jam along to your beats or backings inaninstant. Equipped to play back audio and MIDI directly from a USB stick, a portable music player through the AUX IN, or stream audio from your connected DAW or iOS device via the built-in USB interface.
