Manufacturer's ID: BETA 57A

What we say:

At A Glance:

The Shure Beta 57A updates the classic SM57 design for modern stage and studio use. Beta 57A uses a high output and innovative anti feedback technology to redefine what you can expect from a dynamic microphone.

Features We Love:

An Updated Classic

The Beta 57A takes the classic SM57 design and refines it for use on instruments. The mic features a higher output compared to the original, which combined with the built in anti feedback technology makes the Beta 57A an excellent choice for use on acoustic instruments in a live setting.

Built to Last

The Beta 57A stays true to Shure's reputation for incredible build quality. The hardened steel mesh grille will withstand sweat and spills and can easily be replaced when needed, while the chassis of the mic is built to endure drops and the toughest of use.

Who Is It For?

Producers, engineers and music venues looking for a reliable classic sounding microphone.

Highlights:

  • Spot mic acoustic instruments without the risk of feedback
  • Incredibly robust build quality
  • Also sounds great on guitar cabs and snare drums

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4.8/5 (4 reviews)

Great Mic. Just what I needed for a more focussed snare sound when recording.

STEWART M. - 4/12/2018

Love it on guitar but especially on snare. Prefer it to the SM57 in this case.

Michael K. - 29/12/2017

A good mid priced microphone which did as expected. The bundle with the stand and XLR lead is excellent value.

F.M. - 20/1/2013

very good
