1) Website Content Editor

Category: Web Content

Job Location: Glasgow, UK

Salary: Competitive

Role: To research, write and edit original web content for the GUITARGUITAR website.

 

Description

GUITARGUITAR, one of Europe's leading musical instrument retailers are seeking a website content editor to write, research and edit text for their e-commerce platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled writer to create engaging content in an exciting and developing market. Working closely with website and IT teams, the website content editor will be responsible for creating original product descriptions for GUITARGUITAR’s industry leading selection of musical instruments and equipment, including their premium, unique and bespoke items.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to write professionally, at a consistently high standard. Creativity and flair are valued attributes, with the editor expected to write original, engaging and exciting content. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working in an office environment. A knowledge and interest in guitars is highly desirable.  IT acumen is sought after, but full training will be given to the successful candidate. Previous experience in journalism or professional writing would be valued, but applications are encouraged from all backgrounds.

  • Must be able to work standard office hours, Monday-Friday

2)Web Content Creator (Hi-Tech and Pro-Audio)

Role: To create and edit product content for the GUITARGUITAR website, specifically relating to hi-tech, pro-audio and music production.

 

Description

GUITARGUITAR, one of Europe's leading musical instrument retailers are seeking a website content creator to create and edit product content for their e-commerce platforms. A diverse role, the web content creator will be expected to manipulate photographs, text and graphics for product listings, newsletters and social media/marketing content. The chosen candidate will be expected to work specifically on hi-tech and pro-audio products, including digital pianos, digital drums, keyboards, synthesizers and PA. This is an exciting opportunity for an electronic music enthusiast with a background or experience in website content.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manipulate text and images for websites, as well as excellent written communication skills where copy writing is required. A high level of competency with Adobe Photoshop is extremely desirable, alongside a basic understanding of HTML. The successful candidate must possess a good standard of IT competency and be comfortable working in an office environment.  Previous experience in website content creation is sought after, but applications are encouraged from all backgrounds.

3) Sales Advisor (Hi-Tech and Pro-Audio)

Title: Sales Advisor

Role: To provide sales, service and support for customers in-store. 

 

Description

This is the perfect opportunity for any enthusiastic person with an interest in electronic music to become part of the GUITARGUITAR family. In doing so, you will become a key member of our retail team, assisting with all aspects of our customers' shopping experience. Fundamental to this role is an ability to sell and to demonstrate product knowledge to our new and existing customers. 

This role focuses specifically on the sale of hi-tech and pro audio products, including keyboards, digital pianos, digital drums, synthesizers, microphones, PA, music production and recording equipment. 


A successful candidate will:

  • Ideally have previous experience within the retail sector.
  • Have a good understanding of digital/pro-audio equipment including music production equipment, PA, keyboards, pianos and electronic drums.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate products to a high standard. A multi-instrumentalist with a keyboard bias would be ideal.
  • Be confident dealing with customers face-to-face, on the telephone, and via email.
  • Be willing to learn new products as and when they are released in order to keep up with an ever evolving market.
