Iconic TR-808 Sounds
The TR-808 needs no introduction. It is without a doubt the most famous drum machine to ever exist, and it’s importance to music cannot be understated. It’s prominence in so many genres have made it’s iconic sounds a staple in today’s world. You’ll hear 808s all over songs from just about any radio station you turn on. The TR-08 uses Roland’s patented Analog Circuit Behaviour (ACB) modelling technology to replicate the circuitry and sound of this legendary machine, bringing it into the modern age.
Ultra-Compact and Portable
The TR-08 is extremely compact and portable, weighing only 1.3kg and small enough to fit in any backpack. It can be powered by either AA batteries or USB bus power, and features a built in speaker, which means you can take those sounds anywhere you like.
Hands-on Control
808 sample packs are a dime-a-dozen, but there is a major thing missing from these. The 808 is an instrument, and it’s supposed to be played! The TR-08 recreates the behaviour of the original unit down to the fine details, meanwhile providing full hands-on control. The sequencer on the TR-08 is powerful, and you have the ability to tweak and shape sounds exactly how you like.

Firmware Update Ver.1.07 introduces the following features
- USB and MIDI have been added as MIDI clock sources.
- A function enabling switching soft thru on and off has been added.
- Serato DJ Pro Ver.2.1.1 or later is now supported. Synchronized playback with compositions on Serato DJ Pro is possible. ( FEB 2019 )
