Gibson has clearly put a lot of hours into the creation of this Elvis SJ-200 in Ebony. Crafted by their expert luthiers from Sitka spruce and maple, it produces a rich tone that is clear and well projected, in part thanks to the SJ-200 body. Its 2-piece maple with walnut Stringer neck complements the body nicely while the pickguard adds something special to the visuals.

This guitar not only celebrates what was a golden era of music but also gives players today an amazing guitar with which to build their own legacy. We can't promise you'll be as big as Elvis though; after all, he was the King of Rock and Roll!

Elvis recorded some monumental tracks at the legendary RCA Studio B in Nashville. During one of these sessions in the mid-1960s, he was gifted a guitar that would then be used for many subsequent live performances until he gifted it to his friend Marty Lacker in 1976. This SJ-200 captures a bit of that magic.
