What we say:

At A Glance:

The Taylor 914ce Grand Auditorium is part of the 900 Series, the brand's ultra-premium range. This guitar is beautifully made and boasts luxury materials. This is the very best of Taylor. Featuring the excellent ES2 pickup system and a Venetian cutaway, this is easily the dream guitar for many performing musicians due to how comfortable and easy it is to play. The sound produced is extremely high class; full-bodied and warm thanks to the V-Class Bracing. The Grand Auditorium size makes it a great performer, smaller than a dreadnought but still with plenty of resonance and volume.

Features We Love:

Luxury Materials

This guitar features some of the most beautiful materials available. Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides is one of Taylor's most favoured wood combinations due to the impressive sound that it delivers. Other materials used include ebony fingerboard, bridge and binding with koa purfling, abalone and mother of pearl inlay work and an ebony armrest.

V-Class Bracing

V-Class bracing is a pioneering design from Taylor. It is a new sonic "engine" that transforms the way an acoustic guitar top vibrates. This improves the sound dramatically. V-bracing was developed by master guitar designer Andy Powers and is a bold departure from traditional X-bracing. It produces notes that are louder, longer sustaining, and more in tune with each other.

Expression System 2

This is widely recognised as one of the greatest acoustic pickup systems available. It translates every ounce of tone, detail and dynamic from your fingertips, strings and guitar wood. This gives the audience an accurate and fully realistic translation of your performance.

Who Is It For?

Those seeking the absolute best in an acoustic guitar, the Taylor 900 series represents not only the best in tone but the best in craftsmanship. As a V-Class instrument, this guitar is a fantastic all-rounder when combined with the Grand Auditorium shape, and is ready to serve as a lifelong companion.

Highlights:

  • One of the most luxurious Taylor acoustic guitars on the market
  • Exceptionally impressive craftsmanship
  • Beautiful materials
