What we say:

At A Glance

The Taylor T5z Classic is a semi acoustic that can do it all. First and foremost, it sounds great acoustically. A trio of pickups deliver an impressive range of tones and make this guitar a perfect choice for the performing musician, especially one who requires several tones. The koa top gives a natural look and a rich sounding tone. It features a more compact body than the original T5, making it very comfortable for extended periods of playing. Ideal for those who perform regularly, this guitar can easily switch from warm accompanying chords to hot and articulated leads.

Features We Love:

Three Pickup Configuration

Although only the bridge pickup is visible, there are another two hidden away. An acoustic body sensor and a concealed neck humbucker arm this guitar with a wide variety of tonal choices. From smooth lead parts to full chords, this is a guitar that can do it all.

Hawaiian Koa Top

This hardwood has been a staple choice in the guitar world for many years and with good reason. Not only is it well lasting but it gives a rich sound with an impressive amount of low end. It also helps brings out the organic feel of the instrument, both tonally and visually.

12" Fretboard Radius

For those more accustomed to playing electric guitars, this gives a very familiar feel. It is extremely easy to play and find your way around the jumbo frets. A real benefit when you are performing solos and big bends!

Highlights:

  • Ideal for the performing musician who wants one guitar to do it all
  • Excellent range of electric tones from the three pickups
  • Outstanding level of Taylor craft quality throughout
