PRS’s S2 range has been a hit since they were released a couple of years ago. USA made guitars, stripped to the essentials and ready to rock, the S2 range provides an affordable pathway to play an American PRS.
The Vela is a new offset shaped design that brings a bright sound with its brass-saddled bridge and choice pickup combination of a humbucker in the bridge (with a coil tap) and a type-D single coil at the neck.
The body is carved mahogany with a set neck. A 25" scale length and Pattern Regular neck profile make for an exemplary modern PRS feel. This beautiful Vela can tackle all genres and can sound slinky or chunky depending on what you need.
