About Fender Noventa

The Fender Noventa is a series of electric guitars based around one of the most popular pickups of all time: the P90.

The P90 is a single-coil pickup that has been around since the early 1950s. It’s famous for a biting, aggressive tone with a strong upper midrange. It has become one of the staples of electric guitar pickups. It has never been a mainstay of Fender guitars, but all that has changed with the introduction of the Noventa range. The thinking is simple: the Telecaster gets one P90, the Stratocaster gets two, and the Jazzmaster has a whopping three P90s.

The aesthetics are stripped back and no-nonsense with the Telecaster, in particular, evoking the style of the original solid body Fender prototypes in the late 1940s. In this sense, they look how they sound: straight-to-the-point and in-your-face.

Each model has a comfortable C-profile neck with a modern 9.5” radius.
