What is an Ex-Demo product?

Published on 23 January 2017

You might have noticed some of our amazing deals on Ex-Demo guitars and asked yourself – "What is an Ex-Demo product?"

Quite simply, an Ex-Demo product is one that has been used for demonstration purposes. These guitars have never been sold, but may have been taken to guitar shows, used in our product videos on YouTube or taken to guitar clinics and artist signings.

Ex-Demo guitars come with a full warranty and are protected by the same returns policy as our new stock. As these products are not fresh out the box, they may have suffered from slight cosmetic damage such as scuffs, marks, scratches or dents. They may also be missing manuals and may not come in their original packaging.

To reflect this, we reduce the price of these products and offer incredible deals on ex-demo product – It’s a fantastic opportunity to pick up gear without breaking the bank. You can also rest assured that despite a bit of wear and tear, buying an ex-demo guitar doesn’t mean inferior playability. All our ex-demo guitars are re-strung and set up by a professional guitar technician.

We hope this article has answered your questions on Ex-Demo products, but like anything, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the guitarguitar team if you have any further queries.
