Events: Pete Thorn Suhr Clinic

Published on 21 August 2019

Easily among our favourite modern players, Pete Thorn is one of those rare guitarists who's capable of both baffling and amazing you with his playing. Emotive, stylish and at times totally wild, he has full control over his instrument and is nothing short of a pleasure to watch. However, it's not just his incredible playing that we love, Pete is also a self-confessed gear nerd with an unwavering passion for the latest guitar tech! Last year, we had the pleasure of chatting with Pete about his guitars along with his gigging and recording rigs and his enthusiasm is absolutely infectious. He loves geeking out over the latest gear just as much as he loves playing and his knowledge is so unparalleled that any time we link up with Pete, we always learn a few new tricks. We've been keen to have him back in store and thankfully we've managed to arrange exactly that, read on to find out how you can get involved!

We're very pleased to share that Pete Thorn is joining us in Glasgow for a meet and greet/signing and in Edinburgh and Birmingham for guitar clinics focused on one of our very favourite brands, the mighty Suhr! Responsible for some of the most jaw-dropping and exceptionally well-built guitars in our stock, we've long been fans of Suhr's stunning craftsmanship and we're seriously excited to have someone as talented as Pete run through the latest models. Pete's an absolute Suhr fanatic so there's nobody better to run through their full range and show us what they can do. If you've ever been curious about their fantastic guitars, or even just fancy learning a few new techniques and tricks that you can add to your own playing, this is the perfect opportunity to do exactly that! We expect tickets to go pretty quick, so book yours now to avoid disappointment!
