What we say:

Gibson have no released a more affordable Studio version of their runaway success ES-339 model. Like a 335 with a body the size of a Les Paul, it's easy to understand why so many players have been captivated by the specially redesigned curves of the ES-339.

With an 'everything you need and nothing you don't' ethos, the 339 Studio has stripped things back to a utilitarian minimum. Quality remains, as does feel and sound but there are no overtly decorative adornments. The fret markers are simple dots, the binding is black and there is a tasteful f-hole logo on the truss rod cover. The headstock logo is a gold silkscreen rather than a pearl inlay and the fretboard is torrified (essentially baked in an oven to remove moisture and also darken the grain) maple. The finish is Ginger Burst, an eye catching variation on the traditional Vintage Sunburst.

Great Gibson tone, great portable size and fantastic value for money mark this guitar as one for the gigging musician who doesn't want to compromise on the important aspects of guitar playing.
