The Roland SPD::ONE ELECTRO Pad is an affordable digital drum pad with a fantastic range of tweakable sounds, custom audio playback and a stylish retro aesthetic.
Features We Love:
Sounds
SPD:ONE features 22 awesome electro percussion samples, many coming from classic Roland machines like the TR-808 and TR-909. There is also space for a single user patch, allowing you to load in a 5 second sample of your choice, which can then be tuned just like any of the other sounds.
In Your Kit
This SPD features a rugged single pad design and has been created to be used in a wide range of set ups. It can be played with your hands, sticks or even triggered with your foot. It's compact enough to fit into your set up in the same way a cowbell would, plus it can be run on batteries so you're never tied to a power outlet.
FX
The FX section allows you to add in some reverb or delay. Reverb can be useful for slightly softening a sound or even to make it seem larger, while delay brings in additional rhythmic possibilities.
