BOSS manage yet again to pack a small metal box absolutely full to the brim with top quality effects, all to help the guitarist find the exact tone they are dreaming of. The MD-500 is all about modulation and with 32 bit conversion and a constant 96kHz sampling rate, BOSS have achieved quality which literally nobody else on the market has been able to do.
There are 12 main modes of modulations, each with numerous variations within. A lot of the more classic BOSS effects like Chorus and Flanger have been refreshed with BOSS's proprietary PRIME algorithms to exact even more depth, sheen, range and transparency. These push the DSP to it's limit! Aside form these revitalised classics, the MD-500 contains a host of fresh effects like an updated Slicer, the Overtone, Filter and a redesigned Ring Modulator along with recreations of seminal retro models like the 'script' phaser, the CE-1 Chorus and the Roland Dimension D.
There are 297 patch memories to save your deeply-edited sounds to for recall at any time later. The bypass is even selectable between Buffered and true! However you want your modulations, the MD-500 can serve it up to you perfectly.
