About Taylor 300 Series

The Taylor 300 Series is the first all-solid, all-American series in the main Taylor line.

The 300 Series has two wood combinations, either pairing a Sitka spruce top with sapele back and sides or a tropical mahogany top with Tasmanian blackwood back and sides. Both combinations have a warm and slightly dry sound. This is beautifully balanced by the bright, lively characteristic of Taylor Guitars in general.

The Taylor 300 Series is available in all Taylor’s sizes, except the large Grand Orchestra size. It is also available in nylon and 12-string models. Most of our Taylor 300 guitars come included with a guitar case.
