Alvarez Artist Series AP66ESHB Parlor Shadowburst

Manufacturer's ID: AP66ESHB

What we say:

This handsome parlour guitar is the AP66E, part of Alvarez’s Artist series. It’s slot headstock and small body design based on old pre-war guitars make it a fantastic, historically accurate instrument.

This model has a Solid African Mahogany top and layered Mahogany back & sides for a sound that is focused and bold, especially considering it’s smaller body size. The FST2 bracing inside the body help the guitar project and loud and confident voice.

Finished in Shadowburst, this glossy looking guitar is smart and clean with only a few adornments for decoration like a 12th fret inlay and an abalone rosette inlay. The understatement suits this guitar’s vibe well and it’s beautiful in an agreeably subtle way.

Gigging players will be pleased at the inclusion of an excellent quality LR Baggs Element and Stage Pro combination of electronics.

From the porch to the stage, this lovely Alvarez AP66E will delight and inspire.

I am very impressed with this little guitar. I feel you would have to spend a lot more money to improve on it.
