Manson electric guitars roots can be traced all the way back to the 1960's with brothers Andy and Hugh Manson creating both acoustic and electric instruments. Throughout the 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond Manson guitar works continued to build custom instruments and soon racked up a star studded roster including John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, Noel Gallagher, Hank Marvin, and of most notably Matt Bellamy.

Moving into the 2000's and 2010's Manson guitars moved from strength to strength aiming to make every aspect of their guitars Made in the UK where possible. In 2019 Matt Bellamy bought a majority share of the company which has allowed Manson guitars to move to even greater heights. With the introduction of the Meta series these guitars are built in collaboration with Cort and allow even greater access for Manson and Matt Bellamy fans to get the perfect guitar.
