PPC Executive (Full-Time)
Location: Glasgow (Linwood)
guitarguitar is looking to add a full-time member of staff to our marketing team based out of our Linwood HQ.
The PPC Executive will execute the paid search strategy in line with KPIs and budget. The role will be responsible for the day to day running of paid campaigns across various digital channels such as Google, Bing and Facebook. This role sits within the marketing department, reporting to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
- Day to day management and optimisation of paid activity (Search, Shopping, Display and Video)
- Analyse and report on performance
- Identify new keyword, audience and targeting opportunities
- Propose new initiatives and ideas
- Keep abreast of paid search developments, competitor performance and wider retail industry trends
- Work closely with other teams to ensure campaigns meet wider business objectives
- Resolve Merchant Centre disapprovals and warnings
- Feedback insights to the purchasing team which could help inform purchasing decisions
Experience and Skills
- At least 1 year experience working on paid media campaigns and delivering against KPIs
- Understanding of paid media best practices
- Familiarity with Google shopping, dynamic remarketing and product feeds is beneficial
- Highly analytical and data driven, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Experience of using tools such as Google Merchant Centre, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics
- Budget management with a focus on maximising return

Sales Staff (Full-Time)
Location: Camden
This is the perfect opportunity for a guitar enthusiast to become part of the guitarguitar family at our Camden store in Central London. guitarguitar is the biggest guitar retailer in the UK, with six stores based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Birmingham, Camden and Epsom. You will work between our stockroom and our sales floor of our store in Camden Town, London’s largest guitar store, boasting a huge selection of guitars, amps, pedals and more!
About the Role:
Due to the specialist nature of the store, it is essential that you possess a strong knowledge and familiarity of guitars and their related equipment.
The role is multifaceted and you will be part of an elite team, working in a fast paced environment. We are seeking someone who is a team player, has a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, keeps calm under pressure, and possesses excellent organisational skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading delivery vans
- Ensuring stock accuracy
- Preparing and merchandising stock for the shop floor
- Picking and packing, ensuring goods are shipped safely
- Performing basic guitar maintenance, such as restringing and cleaning
- Tidying and cleaning the stockroom
- Photography for our website and social media pages
- Liaising regularly with colleagues, and occasionally with customers and suppliers
- Assisting and selling to our customers in-store and via email and phone
- Supporting your colleagues by being a team player
- Ensuring the shop floor is well presented and retail ready
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge in an ever evolving industry
- Demonstrating guitars and other guitar related products
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be a team player and a great communicator
- Work well under pressure
- Be detail orientated, meticulous and have great organisational skills
- Be highly driven, motivated and have a passion for guitars and music related equipment

Store Manager (Full time)
guitarguitar Epsom was opened in 2011 and is now established as the destination for guitars and related musical equipment in the South of England. The store has undergone a recent revamp and facelift and is now primed for further growth and success. Seated in the heart of Surrey, the store is viewed as being a key growth opportunity for guitarguitar and the successful candidate for this position will have experience developing a mature site, resetting an in-store culture and in providing a luxury or VIP experience at scale.

The Store Manager will deliver to and exceed guitarguitar’s standards as an industry leader within the MI retail sector, and achieve outstanding commercial results and growth from the site through best-in-class service, staff training, a keen eye for detail as well as having creative ideas and initiatives for business development in the local area.

- Develop and upskill existing Management Team
- Excite and inspire the in-store Sales and Dispatch teams to excellence against all KPIs

- Schedule and manage rotas for 15+ staff over 7 days
- Own the recruitment, selection and training of new Store Staff- Retail and Dispatch
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with operational and personnel policies, procedures and best practice with reference to customer service, sales, HR and Health and Safety.
- Identify, re-engage and strengthen current and future customer relationships including education and B2B opportunities in the local area
- Liaise with GG purchasing to ensure the stocking needs of the store are met and within budget- Provide feedback on slow turning stock
- Secure the premises and stock by implementing and maintaining robust security systems and procedures
- Facilities Management working with Ops Team
- Develop a schedule of activities and promotions throughout the year strategically designed to drive footfall and revenue, working with GG marketing team
