About the Role:
As a member of the Store Management Team the Assistant Manager (Stockroom) will oversee and guide the day to day function of our stockroom, storage and dispatching function ensuring the efficient, accurate and timely handling, processing, online fulfilment and storage of our inventory.
Duties:
- Building and leading a highly efficient team in the back of house operations; training, managing timescales, coaching staff, working against business-wide metrics for excellence and sharing best practices.
- Delivering a highly organised and functional stockroom and dispatching operation.
- Maintaining and improving organisation of the stockroom and running of the back of house goods in/ goods out procedures.
- Managing stock; using an intelligent and considered approach to maintain, question and develop stock management and our dispatch process.
- Improve working culture and practices within the team
- Manage and schedule stock takes and other stock management procedures to minimise Dispatch issue occurrence rate and improve overall health and accuracy of stock
- Provide shop floor management support when needed.
Responsibilities:
- The day to day running of the stockroom, working with the Store Management Team
- Lead, inspire and motivate the back of house team; helping and supporting them to achieve the store’s goals and meet company standards and objectives
- Improve and maintain stock accuracy.
- Complete store admin accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain clean, organised and efficient stockroom
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and enjoys interacting with others within the team and outwith. The successful candidate will have experience managing and operating in a busy retail stockroom environment.
You will be knowledgeable about and experienced with the products we sell as well as having a passion for empowering the musicians of today and tomorrow.

To be considered for this role you must…
- Be passionate about driving the commercial performance of the store on an individual and overall basis
- Think commercially and with a “customer first” mentality, aligning the Retail business for success and growth
- Be able to inspire, train, motivate and coach individuals and groups to improve their sales process and identify opportunities for sales through training sessions, providing written guidance as well as leading meetings and group sessions
- Be confident working within the Store Management team
- Be competent in handling day to day escalations, complaints and operational challenges where necessary
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have experience running and improving stockroom, Warehouse or retail back-end operations.
This is a full time position working 5 days from 7, the role reports to our Store Manager and Assistant Manager(s).

Location: Glasgow
guitarguitar is looking to add a full-time member of staff to our team in the Glasgow Piano & Digital store.
As a member of our sales team, you will represent both guitarguitar, the UK’s biggest guitar retailer, and the legendary brands and manufacturers we partner with as we grow the success of our fantastic Piano department at 22 Trongate.
Essential to this role is an ability to sell, demonstrate Pianos, keys, PA, Electronic Drums, Recording Equipment & Synths to excite and inspire the loyal customers who visit our stores and who make our business what it is.
You will be working directly under the supervision of our Store Management Team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have an excellent understanding of Pianos, keys, musical and recording equipment.
- Excel at demonstrating the above products to a good standard and always aim to inspire beginners and experienced musicians alike.
- Be confident dealing with our customers face-to-face, on the phone, via email, and across social media.
- Be proactive in learning new products as and when they are released in order to keep up with an ever evolving market.

About the Role
The PPC Manager will execute the paid search strategy in line with KPIs and budget. The role will be responsible for the day to day running of paid campaigns across various digital channels such as Google, Bing and Facebook. This role sits within the marketing department, reporting to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
- Day to day management and optimisation of paid activity (Search, Shopping, Display and Video)
- Analyse and report on performance
- Identify new keyword, audience and targeting opportunities
- Propose new initiatives and ideas
- Keep abreast of paid search developments, competitor performance and wider retail industry trends
- Work closely with other teams to ensure campaigns meet wider business objectives
- Resolve Merchant Centre disapprovals and warnings
- Feed insights to the purchasing team which could help inform purchasing decisions
Experience and Skills
- At least 2 year experience working on paid media campaigns and delivering against KPIs
- Understanding of paid media best practices
- Familiarity with Google shopping, dynamic remarketing and product feeds
- Highly analytical and data driven, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Experience using tools such as Google Merchant Centre, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics
- Budget management with a focus on maximising return
- A proactive individual that takes ownership of tasks

Online Retention and Sales Advisor
Location: Newcastle
About the Role
We’re looking for a solutions focused individual to join our online team with experience of sales and customer service via phone and email. You should be dependable, have excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. As part of our Retention team, you will be responsible for proactively guiding customers through various aftersales journeys from a 14 day return right through to our 3 year warranty.
*Due to the specialist nature of this vacancy, it is essential that you possess a keen knowledge and familiarity of guitars and their related equipment.
