Online Management Team (Supervisor)


Location:
Newcastle or Glasgow (On site and remote hybrid)

About this role: 

As part of the online management team, you will oversee the day to day operations of our team of experts providing coaching, guidance and feedback to deliver outstanding service to our customers through email, social media, phone and LiveChat.

You will coach and develop our staff by empowering them to confidently make the right decisions and think commercially.

Ensure SLAs are maintained and that we meet our own standards with regards to speed, quality, accuracy and consistency of the service we provide our customers.

Leading by example, you will demonstrate what we expect from the Online Team; delivering the highest standards of sales and customer service and being ambassadors for the guitarguitar brand.

Take ownership and responsibility for first line escalations with a customer-focused approach to find an amicable solution and increase customer retention.

We are looking for people who have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with people as well as possessing a keen eye for opportunities to make sales. Ideally you will already play an instrument and are both knowledgeable and passionate about guitars and the products we sell.

Assistant Manager - Full Time 37.5 Hours Per Week

Edinburgh Store

About this role: 

Established in 2004 our Edinburgh store is a vibrant and busy working environment that serves the local community and beyond. Reporting to the Store Manager, we are currently seeking a self-motivated and well organised individual to join our Management Team.

Key duties will include:

Managing Stock Control. This will include:

  • Managing product returns
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised working environment
  • Overseeing the daily stock check calendar 
  • Liaise with store manager and the part-exchange team to ensure web photography and content is correct and up to date
  • Manage outgoing web orders
  • Merchandising

The main focus of the role will be in the above areas. However in the absence of the Store Manager the successful candidate will also be required to take care of the following responsibilities:

  • Running the sales floor
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Sales Team Management 
  • Organising the staff rota
  • Managing daily administration tasks

Warehouse Operative - Linwood Warehouse and HQ (Full-Time)


Location
: Linwood Warehouse and HQ, Renfrewshire

We are looking for a member of staff to join our team in the company’s Warehouse in Linwood.

About The Role:

This is a role at the hub of our growing online business; picking, packing and shipping online orders direct to our customers, handling deliveries of every size from a single box to a 40ft container, dispatching stock to our six stores nationwide as well as maintaining and managing our vast inventory of stock.  

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • significant experience working in a Warehousing, logistics or fulfilment environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • good working knowledge of the types of stock we specialise in
  • good understanding of the fundamentals of safe working practices and Health and Safety


Numeracy and computer literacy is essential due to the use of our in-house stock management and order fulfilment systems that will make up a large part of the role.


A Fork-lift Driver’s Licence would be desirable but not essential as full training and certification will be provided. 

The successful applicant must be flexible, and will be required to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rotational basis. 

The role reports to guitarguitar’s Warehouse Manager.

PPC Executive (Full Time)


Location
: Linwood (Hybrid)

About the Role

The PPC Executive will execute the paid search strategy in line with KPIs and budget. The role will be responsible for the day to day running of paid campaigns across various digital channels such as Google, Bing and Facebook. This role sits within the marketing department, reporting to the Search Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management and optimisation of paid activity (Search, Shopping, Display and Video)
  • Analyse and report on performance
  • Identify new keyword, audience and targeting opportunities
  • Propose new initiatives and ideas
  • Keep abreast of paid search developments, competitor performance and wider retail industry trends
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure campaigns meet wider business objectives
  • Resolve Merchant Centre disapprovals and warnings
  • Feedback insights to the purchasing team which could help inform purchasing decisions


Experience and Skills

  • At least 1 year experience working on PPC campaigns and delivering against KPIs
  • Understanding of PPC best practices
  • Familiarity with Google shopping, dynamic remarketing and product feeds is beneficial
  • Highly analytical and data driven, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience of using tools such as Google Merchant Centre, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manger and Google Analytics
  • Budget management with a focus on maximising return
  • A proactive individual that takes ownership of tasks
  • SEO experience would be advantageous, but not essential for this role
