What we say:
Alvarez acoustic guitars began life in St Louis, Missouri in 1965 by master luthier Kazuo Yairi. A well known guitar brand in the States, many top players like David Crosby, Thom Yorke, Devin Townsend and Any DiFranco have proudly toted Alvarez guitars live and in the studio.
Nowadays most Alvarez guitars are made to exacting standards in China and distributed all over the world, bringing traditional building techniques, understated good looks and high quality control into the hands of players of all descriptions.
From the revered Alvarez Masterworks stable comes this refined and beautiful Dreadnought.
This is an electro model with a venetian cutaway on the lower bout to facilitate easy upper fret access. The top, back and sides are all made from solid African Mahogany. This helps impart a most impressive and complex tone, full of rich midrange and strong presence.
Acacia & Paua Abalone binding and inlay work offer subtle yet upmarket looks to accompany the gorgeous Shadowburst gloss finish. The Mahogany neck has a semi-gloss finish to make for supremely comfortable playing.
This lovely instrument comes stage ready with a high quality LR Baggs Element/Stage Pro pickup and preamp combo for professional quality live sound.
This wonderful dreadnought is an excellent choice for guitarists across the board.
