What we say:

At A Glance

The Taylor GS Mini collection builds on Taylor's range of great guitars. The GS Mini-e Bass is a perfect solution for a number of reasons. The compact size would make it a smart choice for many players. The addition of a pickup and preamp makes it ideal for using live, in the studio or any situation where you need to plug in and play. It is made from quality woods and produces a surprisingly large tone for a smaller guitar. Taylor's own patented dual-prong bridge pin design makes for a smooth playing experience and it also offers reassurance that the strings are held securely in place.

Features We Love:

Smaller Scale

A more compact instrument can be a great choice for a number of reasons. Whether it is because it fits better in your hands, is easier to transport or just feels more comfortable, the 23 1/2" scale is a real winner. At around 10" shorter than a standard bass, it certainly is easy to navigate around.

ES-B Electronics

Allowing for more versatility, this pickup and preamp combo accurately captures your playing and allows for it to be plugged in and amplified. An on-board chromatic tuner makes tuning quick and easy.

Sitka Spruce Top

It is easy to see why sitka spruce is often used as a soundboard wood. It gives a wide range of tones making it great for a variety of styles. It also has a beautiful natural look and works well with the layered sapele back and sides.

  • A big sound that is compact in size
  • Versatile due to the ES-B electronics
  • Ideal for younger players or those who prefer a shorter scale

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4.5 (2 reviews)

Brilliant little bass that I bought for socially distanced outdoor band practice. It's surprisingly loud and very nice to play.

just what I wanted/needed to work on learning bass playing
