What we say:

At A Glance

The Reverend Flatroc is a seemingly simple guitar that offers a lot more than what you may think at first glance. The stripped back design is pleasing to the eye but when you look a bit further you realise what is on offer here. Quality construction is provided by the korina body and six-bolt neck plate that securely joins the roasted maple neck. The Retroblast pickups add an abundance of great tones that are versatile and extremely pleasing to play. The usual Reverend features like the triple-tree string tree and the dual-action truss rod are also present.

Features We Love:

Retroblast Pickups

These mini-humbuckers provide power but with balance. They have great definition and produce punchy mids, soaring highs and a warm low end. Handling classic rock and modern tones equally well, they are a great choice since they can easily cover a lot of styles.

Roasted Maple Neck

So what is the difference between a normal maple neck and one of these? Roasted Maple is heat treated to over 300° F to remove any sugars, moisture and impurities. The result is a lighter and more stable wood that has a distinctive caramel colour. Less moisture in the wood means less adjustments are required over the course of the seasons when the temperatures can drastically change. Plus it looks lovely too!

Treble Bleed Circuit

Many players opt for a simple set-up on stage - plug your guitar into an amp and you are good to go. This approach often means using your guitar volume control for any changes, rolling it back to clean up your tone a bit. The Treble Bleed Circuit allows you to roll back without sacrificing those upper frequencies which can often be the case with other volume pots. Now you can turn it down without reducing the quality of your tone.
