What we say:

At A Glance

The beloved Telecaster. No doubt you'll have seen and heard it over the years in the hands of countless rock stars, country players and hard working musicians. Loved for their tried and tested design, they keep things simple, letting you focus on the joy of playing. It is well made and more than capable of delivering the goods wherever your guitar playing takes you. All of the essential Tele features are there and available at an amazingly affordable price.

Features We Love:

Pickups

It wouldn't be a classic Tele without the two single coil pickups. Perfect for achieving that 'tele twang', they can also easily go into rock territory. These definitely give you that vintage sound that the Tele is known for.

Classic Design

Leo Fender certainly got it right all those years ago when he gave the world the Telecaster. He hit the nail on the head first time, so much so that nothing much has changed all these years later. Still a first choice for a large number of guitarists, the Tele has certainly earned its place in music; past, present and no doubt future too!

Three-Way Switching

The three-way switching offers up a selection of different tones while keeping things simple. The options are the bridge pickup (great for high energy tones), both pickups together (a big blended sound) and the neck pickup (a good choice for smooth solos).

Highlights:

  • Classic looks and tones
  • Great value for money
  • Perfect for the beginner or those on a budget

Can?t fault it my first guitar at the age of 64

Bob W. - 7/4/2021

Looks great. Might even sound great as well, but not exactly a field I can profess knowledge of at the moment.

Mark A. - 21/2/2018

Unbeatable value for money - sound and playability, top marks. Really well made. I originally bought it as a cheap project guitar to work on and swap bits about (having quite a few other guitars costing considerably more). However it is such a good guitar as it is, I am loath to do any work on it in case I spoil it!! I have fiddled around with adjusting/fine tuning things like action and intonation, swapped strings, etc. but that's about it. Tremendous value and one of my favourite guitars.

B.. - 20/5/2015

For a budget guitar it has a good twangy telecaster sound, reasonably well set up straight from the box.It makes an ideal beginner/intermediate guitar.

A.L. - 20/3/2014

Totally satisfied. I had a £1000 guitar before and i didn't enjoy playing it as much as this. Love it !

R.G. - 18/3/2014
