With rounded shoulders this modern take on the dreadnought size is designed to offer a warm, rich, tone that is uniquely Taylor. Utilising the V-class bracing that Taylor use on many of their great sounding guitars this guitar has a foundation of stability and refined tones. Brought together with this new shape, notes have a broader, rounder tone with a powerful low end response that doesn't get muddy. Altogether this shape builds on the already famous dreadnought feel and sound by adding a versatility to its sound that can cover many musical styles and playing styles.

Builder's Edition

There's no getting past the beauty of this instrument, Taylor have gone the extra mile. Though its functionality is not to be overlooked, with the builder's edition every aspect has been thought about. The body contours have been chamfered to offer extra comfort, and the fretboard edges have even been rolled to provide extra fretting hand comfort. With these smooth rolled edges this guitar instantly feels comfortable and reminiscent of a guitar you've owned for years. On top of this the bridge is redesigned for more comfort and even the "Silent Satin" finish has been selected to reduce noise while you play. All in all Taylor have gone over this guitar in every detail to make sure it is appointed as a perfect players guitar.

V-Class Bracing

Developed by Taylor’s Master Builder Andy Powers, this is an innovative new style of bracing. It tackles the issue of achieving sustain and tone without sacrificing volume. V-Class bracing allows the guitar’s top to move and vibrate in a more stable manner, resulting in more focus and response from the wood. This control means more volume and projection. The ‘V’ of the bracing travels the middle of the guitar, maintaining rigidity and lending sustain and resonance to your notes. V-Class bracing means a louder, richer sound with better intonation and response.

Expression System 2
