Comfortable, Bevelled Armrest
The guitar has a bevelled armrest for added comfort. This feature is usually reserved for the absolute top-end Taylor guitars. It’s a refreshing and bold move to include it on such an affordable model!
Quality, Affordable Materials
The 22e is made with a solid Walnut soundboard and an Ebony fingerboard. Taylor have ensured that the most important elements to playing - sound, feel and comfort - are the number one priority. Costs are kept down by using layered Walnut for the back and sides, and by keeping the finish Matte. Instead of extra decorative elements, a simple sound hole rosette and dot inlays are used.
Taylor ESB Electronics
Taylor are known for fine electronics that are used across their whole line of guitars from the academy series all the way up to their 900 series. The ESB electronics off a great tone for live performances and come with a 3 band EQ as well as built in tuner so you can stay in control of your performance.
