Vintera is a portmanteau of ‘Vintage Era’ but the Vintera Precision Bass wears this influence lightly with Sea Foam Green and Dakota Red prioritised over prosaic Sunburst. These bright, fun colours are set off by an anodised gold pickguard for a sleek, old-school look. Although they have period correct spec - such as 7.25” radius and small fret wire - these basses do not feel purely the preserve of historians. Instead they are fun, playable bases designed to inspire at home and be thrown around at gigs.

The pickup in the Fender Vintera Precision Bass has been revoiced to sound more like the original so it has bags of rumbly low-end that’s been making walls shake for decades.
