What we say:

Way Huge are an eccentric brand of boutique pedals designed by madcap savant Jeorge Tripps. His unique designs always sound excellent and go just that little bit further than most other pedals whilst still always offering an inspiring and usable sound. Tripps has designed some classic pedals for other companies like MXR and Line 6 but his most revered creations are from his own stable, Way Huge.

Now in its fourth iteration, the Green Rhino is a big fat beast of a pedal. The previous versions were fat sounding overdrives too but this takes the hairy biscuit!

Way Huge have added, for this MkIV edition, a couple of seriously powerful EQ boost and cut mini-knobs. Each one can boost or cut 12dB’ worth of signal, in both the 100Hz and 500Hz zones. Bass and Mids essentially! This now means you can starve your sound of all of its body and muscle or alternately pill up full of steroids and pummel your audience flat with it!

There is a middle ground too where this is a high quality, flexible overdrive that can really texturise your sound but that isn’t nearly as much fun as winding everything on this up and unleashing a riff frenzy!

• Smaller, more pedalboard-friendly housing

• 100HZ and 500HZ controls for shaping mids and lows

• Classic switch recalls the tones of the original Green Rhino

Great sound & very versatile. Unlike my other overdrive pedals
