Each Player Series guitar features 22 frets, new colours, a newly designed neck carve and upgraded pickups. Fender’s iconic Telecaster remains as evergreen and vital as ever here in the Player series. Alongside the aforementioned upgrades, this HH model brings some muscular firepower in the form of two humbucking pickups.
These humbuckers have been specially developed for the Player Series. They have chrome covers and are made with Alnico II magnets for a warm and clear tone. There is plenty of muscle here too for some thick Rock tones, plus you get a handy coil tap circuit to revert back to more traditional Telecaster twang!
The 22nd fret is a most welcome addition, and there is an air of quality throughout the fit and finish. We would happily take this to any gig or recording session.
