What we say:

At A Glance:

The EastCoast GVQ230 is a tasteful take on the lead guitar. With its contoured top, shark tooth inlays, tremolo system and HSS pickup configuration, this EastCoast guitar fits many styles of music and excels when used for louder tones and fast playing.

Features We Love:

Okoume Wood

Okoume is similar to Mahogany in tone, it’s loved for its weighty feel, rich low end and smooth high-end character.

With a humbucker in the bridge position and single coil pickups in the middle and neck position, this guitar covers a wide range of styles and sounds. Including jazz, blues, rock and metal.

Locking Tremolo System

From Hank Marvin to Eddie Van Halen, what guitarist doesn’t love to use and abuse a whammy bar? With tasteful vibratos, flutters and divebombs at your fingers, this guitar’s tremolo system locks the strings in place to prevent them drifting out of tune.

  • Covers a wide range of sounds
  • Locking tremolo system is great for guitar solos
  • High quality tonewood

Overall Rating 3 (1 reviews)

Really appallingly set up. Intonation took a few days and two changes of strings to get right. I took off the strings that it came with it as the frets were sharp, so sanded them subtly and then oiled the fretboard as the wood was dry and looked pretty lousy. I am Hppy now. At £199.00 I get that I cannot expect greatness...but this was far from that.
