What we say:

At A Glance:

Fretless bass has been a unique instrument that’s stood out in pop, jazz and rock music for decades. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to add a fretless to your arsenal of guitars, the EastCoast B210FL is an affordable way to access a fretless without compromising on quality.

Features We Love:

Poplar Body

Poplar is loved for its balanced range of tones, rich sound and a pronounced midrange that brings clarity to the notes you play.

Pickups

The two humbuckers give the guitar a big rich tone and with the active circuitry, you will be able to dial in the exact tone that suits your playing, regardless of whether you’re picking, plucking or slapping!

Fretless

As the name suggests, there are no frets on this guitar, similar to a cello or double bass, pitches are played by ear. The smooth fingerboard allows you to slide into notes or play outside of the standard 12 tone scale. Fretless bass has a distinctive tone that Jaco Pastorius, Mick Karn and Pino Palladino are all famous for incorporating it as the foundation of their signature sound.

Pros:

  • Vintage looks
  • Great range of tones
