What we say:
At a Glance
This amazing G&L Tribute Series Kiloton was created after the success of the Made In Fullerton version and it clearly also delivers the goods! From the elegantly designed body shape to the perfect placement of the humbucker pickup, every aspect of design has been thought through to give you the best sounding and feeling bass G&L can provide.
Features We Love:
Arguably the most comfortable bass body ever created by Leo Fender, it has such a sleek look and feel to it. Being compact in size it is made for comfort. Whether it is helping you with longer shows or extended band practices and writing sessions, superior tone does not have to be sacrificed in order for comfort.
The single Made In Fullerton Magnetic Field Design humbucker gives you a strong and forceful sound. The placement of the pickup is in the exact sweet spot that Leo Fender specified so you can be confident you are getting the most out of your tone. Without relying on a preamp it gives you a full bodied low end delivery, capable of filling rooms with ease.
Leo created yet another innovative design with the Saddle-Lock Bridge. The idea was to transfer more of the string vibration energy directly into the body end-grain for an extremely resonant sound. Think big, rich tones that cover a whole host of applications.
- An elegant design with both comfort and tone at the forefront
- Perfect for a series player who doesn't want to break the bank
- Capable of delivering pro level tone on stage and in the studio
