What we say:

At A Glance

Coming from the Inspired by Gibson Collection, the Les Paul Standard 50s brings to life all of the historic vibes from what was a special time for music. The 59 Rounded neck profile gives a reassuring feel under hand. The ProBucker pickups easily reproduce all of the classic tones but also provide enough output and versatility for more modern sounds. The cream binding frames the body beautifully and adds to those vintage vibes. A Graph Tech nut is a welcomed modern appointment due to its increased reliability. This is a great option for those wanting vintage Les Paul style at a modest price.

Features We Love:

ProBucker Pickups

With a ProBucker 2 in the bridge and a ProBucker 1 in the neck, the big humbucker tones are full and rich sounding. Huge chords and blistering solos all cut through with ease making it perfect for rock. That being said, they can produce smooth and luxurious tones suitable for blues, jazz and even pop.

'59 Rounded Medium C Profile

Staying true to the 50s vibe, this '59 Rounded Medium C neck has a great playing profile. It is comfortable and feels reassuringly well constructed. A great opportunity to have this feature without the vintage price tag!

Vintage Deluxe Tuners

Keeping with the style of the time period, the Vintage Deluxe tuners certainly look the part. With an 18:1 ratio, these tuners are reliable and will do a great job and getting you in tune and keeping you in tune.

Highlights:

  • Vintage vibes with modern playability
  • A classic timeless design
  • Epiphone level of quality

Unbelievable quality for the money. I've played many guitars over my years but this one makes you feel special every time you pick it up. The feel of the neck in particular, the tone of the thing. It's how all guitars should be. Epiphone really have nailed it. I can't imagine what could be better about a Gibson.
