What we say:

At A Glance:

You're sure to get some attention with this unique J-45 Studio!

The body has been slimmed down for this version increasing comfort and playability. This is accompanied by a flatter fingerboard which allows for finer playability.

Hand built using rosewood back and sides and a sitka spruce top, this guitar, as well as feeling great, sounds great! The use of good quality woods allows the sound to resonate around the body projecting the sound out clearly.

Complete with a Fishman Sonitone pickup, this guitar means business!

Features We Love:

Slim Body

Having a slimmer body than previous J-45 models, this guitar is for sure one of the more comfortable to play. If you've always loved the sound and look of a J-45 Acoustic but can't quite get a grasp on the size, this could be the one for you!

Hand Built

The craftsmanship on this model is sure to shine through. Being hand built, attention to detail has taken priority. Every aspect of this guitar has been considered and created with care and attention

Fishman Sonitone Pickup

Beautiful piece of equipment.. lovely tone and do enjoyable.

Beautiful sound, excellent clarity while still retaining that ?Gibson? sound. Miles ahead of the G45 I tried, at least to my ears. Beautiful binding, beautiful finish and beautiful rosewood, lovely overtones and a deep bass. Only thing I would personally change is the ?studio? truss rod cover, but that?s just personal preference.

Lewis F. - 21/10/2020

When I first played my new guitar I couldn?t believe the difference between it and my old one even though I knew that a Gibson was going to be a step up. I probably wasn?t prepared for just how much of a step it was. I couldn?t be more pleased with the J45 Studio. It looks, feels and plays like the quality guitar I always thought a Gibson acoustic should. Can?t wait to start guitar lessons so I can start to get the best from my Gibson.
