The handsome 24 Fret double cutaway is fitted with a pair of PRS TCI "S" humbuckers that deliver beautiful clarity and a pure vintage voice. Combined with the traditional 3-way pickup switch and 2 mini toggle coil splits, you've got a total of 8 distinct sounds from one handsome guitar.

moving away from the pickups, the SE Standard 24-08's highly resonant all-mahogany body is paired with a comfortable Wide Thin mahogany neck, with bound rosewood fingerboard and cool finish-matched headstock. The hardware is superb throughout, as always for PRS, with PRS Designed tuners keeping everything in tune, and the PRS Patented Tremolo for everything from subtle note colour to full on whammy goodness.

These superb humbuckers from PRS originally appeared in the PRS SE Paul's Guitar, and quickly garnered some rave reviews thanks to their beautiful clarity of tone  and pure vintage voice. These pickups also split superbly delivering fantastic, authentic sounding singlecoil tones.

Wide Thin Neck

The neck is where most of the playability of the guitar is decided. PRS have thought meticulously about the shape and feel of the necks they offer. This guitar sports a Wide Thin neck. This neck gives you a thin profile with a wide fretboard, a combination championed by fast players. The mahogany neck is given a gloss finish and is capped with a bound rosewood fretboard.

What sets the 24-08 apart is its powerfully versatile pickup options. With the 3 way pickup switch combined with the 2 coil-split mini switches, you have access to eight distinct settings that make the SE Standard 24-08 perfect for basically any style you throw at it. You can have either humbucker soloed, either solo humbucker coil split, or a possible choice of 4 combined options: both humbuckers, both humbuckers split, or a combination one way or the other! Whether you're chasing a thick, brutal humbucker sound for Doom, a warm, mellow neck humbucker style tone for jazz or a clean, twangy country singlecoil sound, it's all in here, ready to go.
