Breedlove's Layered Ecotonewood back & sides aren't just the old basic plywood with a fancy veneer, instead, utilising three layers of sustainably sourced tonewood. In this case, a layer of mahogany is sandwiched between two layers of Myrtlewood for a rich, complex tone and handsome grain pattern. This construction method has been developed by Breedlove to deliver all the durability and low-cost-benefits of layered woods, while avoiding the typically soft-center of ply that can dampen tonal response. The result is a guitar that's still packed full of superb tone and character, without breaking the bank.

Concertina Body Shape

Breedlove's petite, comfortable Concertina body shape takes the lines and silhouette of their original Concert shape, and downsizes everything to sit even more comfortably in the lap.
