Manufacturer's ID: V52MRBS

The V52MRBS is the archetypal workhorse electric guitar, capable of providing a multitude of musical tones from its simple array of pickups and controls. However, in keeping with the Vintage ethos, the ICON Series features some deceptively future-proof design tweaks. Fixed bridges with three saddles are notoriously prone to intonation problems; the inclusion of the Wilkinson WTB bridge remedies this, allowing your leadwork and chordplay to ring true all over the neck. Likewise, a 'soft C' profile allows unparalleled playability up and down the fretboard.

Good things come to those who wait – but who has the time for that? The Vintage ICON Series replicates the beautiful, worn-in look and feel of an instrument that has paid its dues, without investing the lifetime's worth of woodshedding, rehearsing, performing and travel. This is a guitar that already looks like your lifetime companion; the best part is your journey is just beginning. Play on.

Overall Rating 4/5 (1 reviews)

Wasn’t sure what to expect never having owned a Vintage guitar before, but I love it! It’s a far better quality instrument than some Squier models I’ve had, and the “distressing” is done in a tasteful manner - some other manufacturers idea of a relic is way over the top!!! I have only one “minor” niggle - the bridge/pickup plate is slightly out of skew to the scratch plate, so the gap between them is 3mm wider at one side compared to the other; it may be my critical eye (I am a Product Designer by trade!) but 2 minutes with a screwdriver soon sorted that out! All in all, I’m well chuffed ??
