I have only had these strings on for 5 days, but there is a really satisfying balance between all the strings and they have retained almost all the brightness from first play. Out of the box, the coating makes them more smooth than other uncoated strings too - reducing string noise on slides and meaning slightly less rough on the fingers! I can't make judgements on the longevity of the strings or the coating just yet...!
