What we say:

Everyone already knows that a white Les Paul Custom is unstoppably cool but now there even more reason to own this affordable Epiphone model of the accepted Classic! The Custom Pro features upgraded ProBucker pickups to get even nearer to nailing that PAF tone! Not only that, it also has coil splitting options on BOTH pickups to get single coil spank AND phase switches as push/pull toggles as well! The opens up the sonic possibilities of the handsome beast quite significantly. Everything is otherwise as you've come to know and love: the set neck construction, the multiple binding on the body, neck and headstock and the Custom flash of large block inlays and split diamond headstock inlay. Pure class.

The Les Paul Custom made its debut in 1954 after the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop. Mr. Les Paul himself wanted to convey to audiences that the solid body electric guitar was not a fad but a superb and challenging instrument and that his signature axe, the Les Paul, was the king of all electric solid body guitars. So, Les requested a Les Paul with a custom color finish in solid black and solid white with gold hardware that would blend well with a tuxedo.

The result was the Les Paul Custom, or the “tuxedo” Les Paul, as it became known among fans. The Les Paul Custom quickly became one of the most recognized guitars in the world and Les himself used his Les Paul Custom in concert, on his weekly television show with wife Mary Ford and on his album covers, including his famous duet with pal Chet Atkins, Chester and Lester.

Now with Epiphone’s superior ProBucker™ humbucker pickups with coil-tapping along with the Custom’s classic gold hardware, fully bound body, neck and headstock, and pearloid inlays, we think you’ll agree that the Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO is “dressed to kill.”

Great value for a Les Paul. Sounds great. Plays great. And looks as sexy AF!

Richard M. - 19/6/2019

The guitar is fantastic always wanted one and now I have one it's a great experience it plays great the tone is fantastic and the coil tapping adds a different flare to the les paul, one thing it did need was a setup done and nut adjusted by my own personal tech to my playing standards like my other les paul I own, but I have no problems with this guitar whatsoever,

ANDREW H. - 8/11/2018

Amazing guitar. Looks gorgeous and plays well

Allan C. - 8/5/2018

The staff appreciated that I more-or-less knew what I wanted and were happy to leave me alone to make the final decision. No "sales pitch". They then went to the trouble to go out back and find me an instrument that hadn't been on display. (The display model had slight, barely visible signs of having been handled.) I would definitely shop at GuitarGuitar again even for just plectrum. I would be happy to drive the two hours involved knowing that the plectrum I came back with would be the most suitable plectrum for my purpose within a two hour radius of where Ilive! Well done!

David C. - 6/4/2018

Excellent quality of construction and plays like a dream, with that great Les Paul sound. Probucker pickups deliver terrific sustain; coil tapping and phase switching available via the push-pull volume and tone pots enable the LP to sound like a Strat!
