What we say:

Yamaha have taken their biggest selling acoustic guitar design, the APX, and redesigned it at 3.4 size to make the ultimate travel guitar! Have fun with your favourite Yamaha anywhere you go with this stylish and practical down-sized design.

Featuring a Spruce top and a 22 13/16” scale length, the APXT2 feels sturdy and big enough to play without compromise but most definitely small enough to feel like you can just grab it and take it with you! this model is Black and retains the distinctive APX look.

It is, like it’s big brother the APX, an electro acoustic and the pickup system is Yamaha’s own System 68. The onboard control panel allow you to adjust the volume, tone and built-in tuner directly from your instrument! You can literally take this guitar from the beach to the stage!

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4.8/5 (9 reviews)

Manageable size and nice tone. As a beginner player I find the finger stretching easier than on a full size guitar. Not tried it through the pickup yet as I prefer acoustic.

Andrew D. - 29/7/2021

Just as expected- great sound for a compact body. Great for strumming, not sure about finger-style. Probably not a guitar for big hands.

Peter B. - 30/4/2021

Great for practice. Small and light. Pick up and play more than my more expensive ones.

Steve T. - 4/4/2021

Koumadhi K. - 12/2/2021

Great sound. Im inlove with it?

Emmy L. - 17/8/2020

Excellent guitar, slightly smaller than I expected but superb instrument for my daughters first.

Iain M. - 12/8/2020

Nice little travel guitar. Good sound for the size and value for money with inboard tuner and electronic pickup

Tarbin G. - 11/7/2020

Good sound quality, do not feel like a cheap guitar

Jiayi J. - 9/6/2020

Perfect little travel guitar, it goes everywhere with me!
