What we say:
At A Glance
12 string guitars have always had a special vibe to them and the Taylor 356ce is no different. It makes use of a sitka spruce top and sapele sides to produce a full and rich sound that allows all 12 strings to be heard with clarity and definition. Taylor's highly regarded ES2 pickup system makes for an easy time when the plug in and play approach is needed. A venetian cutaway gives upper fret access for when higher region playing is required. The bracing pattern has been constructed to deal with the extra tension from the additional strings.
Features We Love:
12 String Sound
The sound of a 12 string guitar is very distinctive. They fill a lot more musical space and for that reason are great as an accompanying instrument. Many guitarists consider it a worthy additional to their tonal arsenal as it can be the extra ingredient that really sets a song apart.
Grand Symphony Body Shape
Designed by Bob Taylor in 2006, this 20" length body produces a responsive and impressive sound. It has a big sound but can also sing sweetly when played lightly, making it great for those who integrate dynamics into their playing.
Expression System 2
This is widely recognised as one of the greatest acoustic pickup systems available. It translates every ounce of tone, detail and dynamic from your fingertips, strings and guitar wood. This gives the audience an accurate and fully realistic translation of your performance.
