What we say:

At A Glance:

The Gretsch G5260T Electromatic Jet may just make it to the top of our list of favourite baritone guitars. With classic looks courtesy of the metallic dark cherry body with silver appointments and great usable tones thanks to mini-humbuckers and baritone scale length. Every aspect of this guitar makes it a head-turner and those looking for a vintage style guitar with some dirty low end need look no further!

Features We Love:

Baritone

Baritone guitars use a longer scale length (in this case 29¾") to allow for lower tunings without the loss of string tension. The use of Baritone has been popular across many genres of music including country, metal and jazz, as well as being a regular feature of Spaghetti Western movies.

Gretsch Mini Humbucker Pickups

These humbucking pickups capture the low-end nature of this guitar whilst retaining that signature Gretsch allure. For clean, overdriven, and all tones in between, your guitar will always have definition, bite and a charming character.

Thin U Neck Profile

The use of a slender "U" shaped neck makes this guitar extremely comfortable to play. Even for smaller sized hands, complex chording is easily executed and hand fatigue is reduced.

Pros:

  • Classic low end baritone tones
  • Great vintage looks

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5 (3 reviews)

Really well built and flawless finish on this guitar. I own a couple of baritone guitars and this Gretsch is definitely the most versatile one in terms of tone and sounds. But of a chunky neck due to the medium jumbo frets so be aware of that but really easy and smooth neck to play nonetheless.

Bruno P. - 30/4/2021

The build is perfect, finish spotless, very playable out of the box, love the colour, neck feels slightly chunkier than my danelectro baritone but it is a different style of baritone guitar so not really an issue. Great sounding pickups and just overall really happy with this guitar.

Absolutely incredible guitar, can hardly put it down!
