What we say:

At A Glance

The Epiphone Masterbilt Excellente brings a classic and rare model back into existence. With only 141 being produced between 1963 and 1970, it is safe to say that these weren't the easiest to get a hold of. It was made famous by country music superstar Loretta Lynn and has definitely earned its place as part of the Masterbilt Collection. A solid sitka spruce top with ovangkol back and sides produces a bright tone that projects sounds well. A Fishman Sonitone Preamp makes this guitar incredibly versatile and a perfect choice for taking out on the road. The historic Peal Cloud inlay adds a touch of extra class to this already striking instrument.

Features We Love:

Fishman Sonitone Preamp

Adding a high class preamp makes this guitar perfect for the touring and performing musician. The volume and tone controls are easy to access making small adjustments on the sly no problem at all. The tone of the guitar is realistically captured and does justice to the beautiful natural tone.

Kluson Waffleback Tuners

Having been used on a plethora of classic models over the years, the Kluson Waffleback tuners not only look the part but perform incredibly well. They have a 15:1 gear ratio which enables the player to be in complete control when tuning, leading to an accurate pitch achievement.

Epiphone Masterbilt Collection

This highly esteemed collection from Epiphone has been producing incredible instruments since 1931. Nowadays they produce a custom level of quality at an achievable price point for players seeking an extra special kind of instrument.
