The ESP LTD H3-1000 FR FM See Thru Black, is a refined, more ergonomic take one of the most recognisable shapes of the ESP range. Their high performance S-style guitar has been used to full effect by many artists in the metal world for decades, and the H3-1000FR, with it's more angular, extended upper horn and shortened lower horn makes the H3's playability second to none. The flattened neck radius with 24 frets, sleek Macassar ebony fingerboard and thin U neck profile help it to play like a dream. The mahogany body and maple top combination handles all of the bite and attack needed, but with a prominent mid range to thicken up your tone. The Alnico V Pegasus bridge and Sentient neck humbuckers are a great combination for metal players. They may be medium output, but the articulation and aggression is very clear and won't muddy when using more and more gain. For less aggressive tones, the push/pull coil split opens up a range of classic spanky tones.

Unique Body Shape

Certainly a striking and almost futuristic look, but the Horizon 3 style body is supremely comfortable. The larger upper horn hugs your body as you play and the slightly offset lower potion of the guitar makes it easy to play in a variety of positions.
