While the HSH pickup combination gives you the versatile experience you would expect, a slight change in the wiring allows for both humbuckers on full in the middle position instead of the middle pickup solo. This avoids any of the unwanted hum from the single coil and gives you a full on thick middle position tone.

Let's not forget the looks! A deep cherry red finish adorns this guitar from head to toe, and a gloss finished bakelite pickguard keeps the electronics inside. This iconic visual is a bit of an homage to Brian May, and the Korina wood comes through the finish beautifully to give you an incredible looking instrument.

Versatile Electronics

The SSH, V60 and SSV are tried and tests on most Suhr guitars, giving you some incredible tonal variations for a wide variety of applications.

What really makes this stand out is the middle pickup position. Instead of allowing the middle position to be used as a single coil, it puts both humbuckers on full like a standard double humbucker guitar. This allows you to keep the funky tones from the in-between positions, while keeping the thick full fat tone of humbuckers in the middle, with no single coil hum to worry about.

Locking Saddle Bridge

John Suhr wants you to pick up and enjoy this guitar without worrying about anything except your playing. A common complaint of tremolos comes from tuning stability and whammy bar abuse, but with these locking saddles that's a thing of the past! The Wilkinson 2 Post Tremolo lets you lock the strings at the bridge, allowing you to wiggle, warble and dive bomb to your hearts content!

The Korina wood on this guitar combined with a deep cherry red finish is an incredible combination, sure to stand out from a collection, or on a stage.
