The finish is very basic, TBH it looks a bit like a completed DIY project, BUT my intention was to sticker this guitar, so not a problem, but if you are after a wood effect and high quality finish then the ebony is not in that category and choose a different Epiphone from the vast range. There’s no pick guard too, (My bad, I should have noticed on the photos) but on this guitar it will be plastered in stickers, and a garish strap, so no big deal. Just saying though. Anyway more importantly, I’ve plugged it in…. and it ROCKS!!! I’m absolutely amazed with the punk rock sound it produces (amp overdrive full on) and also a bit of a 50s rock n roll potential too. Highly recommend if great sound potential is what your after.

My guitar was delivered quickly and well packaged. A beautiful, first serious guitar for me has given me hours and hours of delight. I’m always thinking about the next time I can play. Although I’m relatively new to playing, I feel, for the price this guitar is great quality. Sounds wonderful on my new marshal code50 amp, also purchased through GuitarGuitar, delivered quickly and is a awesome bit of kit. I would highly recommend these purchases.
