What we say:

At A Glance:

The Aguilar DB 751 Bass Valve Amp Head features a world class design that combines serious power with a beautiful sounding tube preamp and an expanded EQ section.

Features We Love:

Tube Driven

This new preamp design combines the tube-driven sound of the classic DB 750 with an enhanced EQ section. The result is a detailed tone with natural compression and the ability accurately to carve out the sound you're looking for.

More Than Enough Power

The DB 751 has a huge amount of power under the hood, offering the ability to run 975 Watts at 2 ohms or 750 Watts at 4 ohms, more than enough power to have the headroom you need in any situation. Running this kind of power can generate some heat, to handle this, a pair of whisper fans have been installed to automatically maintain the temperature of the amp, without being audible during quieter gigs.

FX Loop

We love the inclusion of an FX loop that lets you place your effects before or after the EQ section and have found that it can really bring your sound to the next level.

Tuner Output

The dedicated tuner output combined with the ability to mute the amp via a footswitch means you can maintain a tidy set up and is ideal for pairing the amp with a rackmount tuner.

Who Is It For?

Professional players looking to be able to hone in their desired sound will absolutely love what the Aguilar DB 751 is capable of.

Highlights:

  • Huge amount of headroom
  • Precision tone sculpting
  • Built-in DI with ground lift switching
